BIO

Max’s beautiful voice, rhythmic ability and unique mojo has generated memorable experiences for audiences since 2008. His style pulls from various genres, including soul, folk, rock, funk and R&B. A traveler, he has played music and adventured across three continents, and become well known in the New England musical community before returning to his home of origin, Kansas City in 2023. He is a proficient guitar player and singer, and also performs using his computer to manipulate backing tracks in support of his guitar and voice. In addition to performing originals and covers, he composes music for dance performance, and embodied ritual experiences. He hopes that his music will have a positive effect on all sentient beings and wishes you well.
