The SilverMoon Band

The SilverMoon Band was formed in 2005 by three veteran musicians — Dave Smid, Stan Schmedding and Dave Smith — who brought years of experience and a shared commitment to strong live performance. Over the past 21 years we’ve stayed true to that original spirit, blending southern rock, country rock and modern country into a versatile, crowd-pleasing sound.

Our current lineup — completed eight years ago — features the dynamic vocal and instrumental contributions of Erin Eairleywine-Ganzel (Fremont) and Eric Johnson (Morse Bluffs), with Jeff Nelson serving as our masterful sound engineer. Together with the founders, this group delivers tight performances, rich harmonies and the kind of stage chemistry that keeps audiences coming back.

We play everywhere our music is welcome: Firemen’s Balls, weddings, fundraisers, special events, county fairs, ballrooms, Surfside, Bushwackers, Cottonwood Cove, Eagles Clubs, street dances and more. Whether it’s an intimate wedding set or a full festival billing, we shape our show to fit the event and the crowd.

After two decades on the road and a wide range of gigs, SilverMoon remains committed to great songs, genuine performance, and bringing people together through music. If you want a band that can move a dancefloor, honor a classic, and keep a crowd smiling, you’ll find that spirit in every SilverMoon show.
